Coronation has launched Coronation Core, a new evolution of its social impact work focused on delivering deeper, measurable and long-term outcomes for the communities it helps shape.

Building on the foundations of Coronation Cares, Coronation Core brings a more integrated and outcomes-led approach, anchored in Courage, Opportunity, Resilience and Empowerment.

As its first flagship initiative, Coronation has partnered with Youth Off The Streets to pilot a new model aimed at breaking the cycle of youth homelessness.

Developed alongside frontline specialists at Youth Off The Streets, the program connects mentoring, job readiness, apprenticeships, employment pathways and housing options through Coronation’s development pipeline. It is designed to demonstrate what’s possible when stability, consistency and wraparound support are aligned.

Joe Nahas, Managing Director of Coronation, said the partnership reflects a more deliberate and long-term approach to impact.

“This is about commitment and follow-through. We’re not here to fund programs and step back. We’re building something that creates real pathways – from education into employment, and ultimately into stable housing.

“We have a role to play beyond the buildings we deliver. If we can use our pipeline, our partnerships and our platform to create opportunity, then we should.

“Youth Off The Streets brings deep, on-the-ground expertise. Together, we can support young people in a way that’s consistent, practical and built to last.”

The need for action is urgent. Almost half of children and young people who require a crisis bed are unable to access one, highlighting the shortfall in both accommodation and support services. Young people also experience the highest rates of homelessness and hidden homelessness, making it significantly harder to stay in school, secure work and maintain wellbeing.

Judy Barraclough, CEO of Youth Off The Streets, said the partnership comes at a critical time.

“For young people experiencing complex disadvantage or homelessness, the barriers to starting a career can be overwhelming. The physical obstacles – keeping a stable address, accessing transport, having a safe place to call home – are only part of the story.

“When, on top of that, a young person has no trusted adult to learn from, minimal workplace experience and little knowledge of how to apply for a job – employment can seem completely inaccessible.

“The partnership with Coronation will break down these barriers and create new pathways for young people to reach their potential and build a secure future.

“I’m thrilled Coronation is joining us to create lasting change for young people.”

Coronation Core and Youth Off The Streets share a commitment to long-term, systemic change, with a focus on creating pathways that are practical, scalable and built to endure.
