In The News | Archer & Albert Launches in Chatswood

Archer & Albert brings together architecture, landscape, heritage and hospitality to create a considered new residential address in the heart of Chatswood.

Recently featured by realestate.com.au and Apartments & Developments, the 32-storey development will deliver 150 residences designed by Woods Bagot, alongside a new public park, restored heritage home and ground-floor dining precinct.

Inspired by the Sydney Blue Gum High Forest that once shaped the Chatswood landscape, the architecture draws on the natural character of the area, with deep planted balconies and a considered material palette reinforcing its connection to landscape.

At ground level, a landscaped park and new pedestrian connection will link Archer Street and Bertram Street, while the existing 1898 heritage home will be restored as a café overlooking the park. Three restaurants will also frame a landscaped courtyard, creating a new dining precinct for residents and the wider community.

The residences have been designed to maximise natural light and outlook, with views across Chatswood and towards the neighbouring South Chatswood conservation area.

As Coronation Managing Director Joe Nahas explains, “Great residential buildings are shaped as much by what happens at street level as by the homes above.”

Archer & Albert will officially launch this Saturday, 12 September, introducing Coronation’s newest residential offering to Chatswood.
