QT Parramatta, within 8 Phillip Street, has been named one of the most exciting Australian hotel openings of 2026 by the Domain Group's CommercialRealEstate.com.au, a recognition that speaks to both the hotel and the momentum shaping Parramatta.
Rising 65 storeys at 8 Phillip Street, the mixed-use tower's distinctive twisting rhomboid form will reshape the Parramatta skyline. At its centre sits QT Parramatta, delivered in partnership with EVT Limited: 65 designer suites, a destination restaurant, a 300-seat ballroom, wellness spaces and an infinity pool oriented to the city.
When it opens later this year, it will mark Parramatta’s first five-star hotel.
“Parramatta has waited a long time for a hotel of this calibre, and it deserves one,” says Joe Nahas, Managing Director and Founder of Coronation. “QT Parramatta isn’t about bringing five-star to a suburb. It’s about recognising Parramatta as a capital in its own right, and building to that standard.”
For decades, five-star hospitality has been concentrated in one part of Sydney. QT Parramatta signals a broader shift, one where Parramatta continues to strengthen as a true second CBD, supported by infrastructure, investment and civic ambition.
It’s a project we’re proud to deliver, and one that sits alongside Charlie Parker and our broader pipeline, a long-term view of city-making, shaped asset by asset, precinct by precinct.
