In the media: City Starter, City Stayer™ attracts National attention

Coronation’s City Starter, City Stayer™ apartment typology has attracted widespread media attention, highlighting its innovative response to the needs of Australia’s growing number of single-person households.

Nine News Sydney recently visited Precinct 75 in St Peters, where property reporter Eddy Meyer interviewed Coronation’s Head of Urban Transformations, Aras Labutis, for the network’s 6pm bulletin.

The report explored the growing pressure facing people renting on a single income and how City Starter, City Stayer™ aims to provide another option – combining highly considered private apartments with integrated furniture and storage, resident services and access to the shared amenity of a professionally managed Nation build-to-rent community.

The typology was also featured by The Sydney Morning Herald, which examined the challenges facing Sydney renter Claire Park as she competed against dual-income households to secure a home.

Claire said she would “love to see more options on the market for single people”, reflecting the strong public response the concept has received since its approval.

City Starter, City Stayer™ will be introduced for the first time at Precinct 75 as part of Nation’s build-to-rent community. Developed by Coronation and designed in partnership with COX Architecture, the residences prioritise functionality, liveability and affordability through efficient layouts and access to an extensive range of shared amenity.
