Ashbury Terraces is a contemporary interpretation of the classic Sydney terrace, designed by SJB’s Adam Haddow and Victoria Judge in collaboration with 360 Degrees Landscape Architects. The project combines terraces, apartments and penthouses within a landscape-led community that responds thoughtfully to the heritage character of Ashbury.
Drawing inspiration from the suburb’s brickmaking history and tree-lined streets, the architecture uses crafted brickwork, articulated roof forms and layered landscaping to create homes that feel deeply connected to place. Positioned beside W H Wagener Oval, the project embraces openness, greenery and wellness, offering residents a strong connection to nature and community.
Inside, the homes are designed around light, flexibility and indoor-outdoor living, with private courtyards, generous windows and refined material palettes creating calm, timeless spaces.
Ashbury Terraces reimagines medium-density living for the Inner West, ultimately balancing heritage, architecture and landscape to create a residential community designed for long-term liveability.
