We are delighted to announce that Ashbury Terraces has been shortlisted as a finalist at the 2022 World Architecture Festival (WAF) in the ‘Future Projects: Residential’ category.
WAF is the largest global annual architectural event that brings together the leading architects and designers from all corners of the globe to celebrate, learn about, and discover world-leading projects.
Together with SJB and 360 Degrees Landscape Architect, our shared vision for Ashbury Terraces was to create a collection of residences immersed in greenery that encapsulated Ashbury’s local character whilst providing a contemporary alternative to the traditional Sydney terrace typology.
“The terrace typology is used as a means to connect to the surrounding suburb, giving the development a unique identity, and makes for refined, beautifully crafted homes. The design focuses on maximising space and solar access, natural ventilation, and fostering a connection to gardens, with the verticality of the terrace adding a layer of joy and delight through voids, lightwells and stairs top lit from above.”
The nomination represents a significant achievement for Coronation Property, further validating our commitment to delivering design-conscious, high-quality, and transformative places that better the future of our customers and communities.
SJB will be travelling to Lisbon to present the project where winners will be announced on 30 November 2022. We look forward to sharing the outcome of these awards in due course.
