Mason and Main Merrylands Street View | Coronation Property
Mason & Main Precinct, Merrylands
Mason & Main is a completed mixed-use precinct in Merrylands, delivered by Coronation and operated by Nation as part of our long-term portfolio. Five residential buildings, designed by Woods Bagot and landscaped by 360 Degrees, are organised around an activated retail spine that strengthens the Merrylands town centre rather than competing with it.

The precinct integrates two distinct residential offerings — Mason & Main Residences for owner-occupiers, and Nation Merrylands for renters within our build-to-rent platform — alongside Eat Street, a 9,000-square-metre dining and retail laneway anchored by more than 25 operators.

Together, they create a precinct that performs across daily routines, weekend activity and long-term residential life.

DESIGN STORY

The architecture draws directly on Merrylands' industrial heritage. Brickwork, arched openings and fine-grain shopfronts reference the area's former brickworks and aqueducts, translated through contemporary materiality and proportion.

Designed by Woods Bagot and landscaped by 360 Degrees, the precinct is organised around an activated retail spine that extends the Merrylands town centre rather than competing with it. The result is a place that reads as part of its context — robust, considered, and built to evolve alongside the community it serves.

“Good architecture elevates the performance of a precinct. When design is carefully considered – in materiality, proportion and public interface – it strengthens functionality and long-term desirability. At Mason & Main, the objective was to create spaces that attract tenants who value quality, durability and a genuine connection to place.”
DOMENIC ALVARO – DIRECTOR, WOODS BAGOT
