In a bid to meet the growing demand for commercial space in Liverpool’s CBD, plans to transform 24-28 Elizabeth Street into a vibrant commercial and retail precinct are now well underway according to The Daily Telegraph. Touted as a game changer for the city, the proposed 28-storey, five-star green-star building will include 32,000sqm of floor space and feature a 22-storey atrium, eateries, office and retail space.
A Development Application is expected to be lodged with Liverpool Council.
With the construction of the Western Sydney International Airport now underway and international corporations including Scentre Group and Amazon already showing considerable investment in the city, the growing demand for – and desirability of – premier commercial real estate in Liverpool is becoming increasingly apparent.
Elizabeth Place, as it is expected to be called, will be a short 15-20 minute walk from Coronation’s The Paper Mill, and will be a welcomed addition to not only the city but the growing local community.
