Liverpool attracts new residents near and far

Affordable prices and major investment is transforming Australia’s fourth oldest township, Liverpool with home buyers flocking to call it home.

With projects such as the Western Sydney Airport at Badgerys Creek and the $740 million Liverpool Health and Innovation Precinct set to come online by 2026, it is clear to see why Liverpool has become increasingly attractive to buyers and investors from across Sydney.

Coronation’s The Paper Mill in Liverpool is one of the latest projects to transform the Liverpool skyline with recent first home buyers, IT project manager Prerak Parikh and wife, Archie Dave, a retail regional manager moving from their rental home in Epping to a two-bedroom apartment in which they bought off the plan three years ago for $550,000 in Building A, one of the first two completed buildings within the precinct.

The mixed-use precinct sits on the Georges River and comprises almost 900 apartments across four stages and a 500-seat dining and community precinct.

Without a sufficient deposit to buy in Epping, the couple were drawn to The Paper Mill due to the quality and design of the apartments and the precinct’s riverside location. Their positive experience has even inspired their overseas family to invest in units at the precinct.

“Liverpool wasn’t even on our radar.” Mr Parikh said he and his wife were drawn to the quality and design of the apartments and the precinct’s riverside location.

“I’m glad we did (buy) now that we understand the growth potential of Liverpool. We’re happy,” he said.

Once the Paper Mill is fully occupied there would be 2,500 residents living and recreating on the riverfront said Coronation Property’s Urban Transformations Director, Aras Labutis

“We really want the project to be the catalyst for the revitalisation of Liverpool and its reorientation towards the river,” Mr Labutis said.
