Solis, Liverpool’s landmark residential towers were officially opened on Saturday by Mayor Ned Mannoun, Mayor of the City of Liverpool as part of the community launch event held in the complex’s communal garden. Accompanying him was the Federal Member for Hughes The Hon Craig Kelly and Councillor Peter Ristevski.
Located in the heart of Liverpool at the intersection of Bigge Street and the Hume Highway, Solis is made up of 185 apartments across two towers of 14 and 15 levels with views that stretch across surrounding parkland, the Georges River and as far as the Sydney CBD, setting a new standard in Liverpool for exceptional quality and value with its dramatic architectural presence.
Mr Joe Nahas, Director of Coronation Property Co, the developers of Solis says, “Solis is a real first for Liverpool – a city undergoing a significant transformation, and we are extremely proud of what we have delivered since construction started in late 2013.
It’s a pleasure for us to be able to celebrate the Official Opening of Solis with families who have chosen to call Solis and the City of Liverpool their home.” Mayor of the City of Liverpool, Ned Mannoun says of today’s opening.
“Liverpool, the capital of the Great South West, is an exciting place to be right now. With the new airport for Badgerys Creek on the way, and a fast growing young population, Liverpool is on track to being Sydney’s third CBD after the city and Parramatta,” said Mayor Ned Mannoun.
High quality developments such as SOLIS show just how much potential there is in Liverpool as a place to live, work and invest in, and I’d like to congratulate everyone who was involved here; everyone who saw the potential of this site and helped make it become a reality” he said. New residents were encouraged to get to know their neighbours at the community barbeque launch event held within the outdoor communal garden that forms the centrepiece of the two residential towers. The event celebrated the diversity of the residents at Solis with live music by local upcoming artist Anna Ly, children’s activities and a range of garden games to enjoy in the community space.
