With apartments starting at $339,000, Liverpool development The Paper Mill on Georges River can stake a claim to offering Sydney’s cheapest new homes. The new development is set to include 300 waterfront apartments, along with an active lifestyle precinct and public amenities.

Located on the site of one of the oldest and largest paper mills in Australia, the development will be surrounded by established infrastructure, such as the M5 and M7 motorways, a retail hub, hospitals and education facilities.

The Paper Mill will also offer the local community a retail space for showcasing regional produce, pop-up shops to foster local talent and a cafe. Architect Domenic Alvaro of Woods Bagot is spearheading the design, with the vision of combining contemporary living with a sense of history.

“The design draws heavily on the story of the old paper mill, with a unique blend of re-purposed 19th-century industrial buildings juxtaposed with the highest quality of urban development,” Mr Alvaro said. The design team also includes celebrated landscape designer Aspect Studios. Apartments will be available with one, two or three bedrooms.
